Explorations in Thermochromic Paint and Conductive Thread

Thermochromic paint changes the hue when heat is applied to the pigment.

In these explorations, I sew conductive thread through the pigment, and use the heat from the circuit to change the colour of the pigment. The voltage used in this example is 5V.

The front side of the circuit. The closer the power and ground are together (aka the "shorter" the circuit), causes a quicker and more intense pigment change.
